Public adjusting · Property claims

Your home is the claim of your life. Don't handle it alone.

A licensed and bonded public adjuster who works for you — not the insurance company. I document your full loss, handle the carrier, and stay on your file until the last payment clears.

How it works

A steady process, start to settlement

You focus on your family. We carry the claim.

STEP 01

Free consultation

We talk through your loss and your policy. You'll know where you stand before you sign anything.

STEP 02

Document the full loss

Site inspection, contents inventory, ALE tracking — a complete, defensible scope of what you're owed.

STEP 03

Present & negotiate

We handle the carrier: the estimates, the letters, the meetings. Fact-driven, policy-driven, calm.

STEP 04

Settle fairly

You collect what the policy actually owes — and we stay with the file until the last payment clears.

Before you sign with anyone

Eight questions to ask any public adjuster — including me

After a disaster, adjusting firms fly in from out of state, sign fast, and leave faster. In Lahaina, my team watched families get signed in a parking lot — and then never hear from their adjuster again. Ask these questions before you sign anything — whoever you're talking to.

!
The pattern to watch for

Door-knockers, pressure to sign today, and a home office two time zones away. When the claim gets hard, distance makes it easy to walk away.

01
Are you licensed in Washington — under your own name?Ask for the license number and look it up. Some firms operate on one distant license with unlicensed reps doing the signing.
02
Who actually works my claim? The person who signs you should be the person who carries your file — not a rotating case manager in another state.
03
Where is your office, and will you come to my property?A claim this size needs boots on your lot, more than once. Distance is where files go to die.
04
How many open claims do you have right now?Firms that mass-sign after a disaster can hold hundreds of files per adjuster. Ask for the number.
05
What is your fee, and is there a cap?Get it in writing before you sign. Washington regulates public adjuster contracts — no honest fee needs to be signed tonight.
06
Can I cancel, and how?A fair contract has a plain cancellation clause. Pressure to sign before you read it is your answer.
07
Can I talk to clients from your last disaster? Not testimonials on a website — phone numbers. Ask specifically for clients whose claims took over a year.
08
Will you still be here in two years?Wildfire claims outlast the news cycle. Out-of-state firms leave when the next disaster hits. Ask what happens to your file then.

Why I do this

I worked Lahaina claims. I know what comes next.

I've spent 21 years working catastrophic property claims, including fire claims for Lahaina families after 2023. I saw what a well-documented claim recovers — and I saw what happens when an out-of-state firm signs a hundred households and disappears when the files get hard.

Wildfire recovery takes years, not weeks. You need someone licensed here, reachable here, and still on your file in month eighteen. That's the promise: I take the claims I can personally carry, and I carry them to the end.
